People will always be attracted to INSTANT

People will always be attracted to “Buy Now-Pay Later”

And I completely understand why…

Heck…

I was the QUEEN of something for nothing deals back in the day.

I ran myself BROKE and FAT trying to get SKINNY and RICH with little to no work.

And I do mean broke.

We are talking $40k in credit card debt and

knowing all the debt collectors on a first name basis.

And I do mean fat.

We’re talking over 100 pounds of extra “junk in my trunk”

If there was a Lose Weight Fast  program or pill out there…

I bought it.

Diet books, Tony Little Gazelles, Deal a Meals

You get the picture.

And for getting rich we had the Dave Del Dotto real Estate course

Tony Robbins low cost seminars where I bought THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff

that I was SURE would give me what I wanted in 90 days or less…

All kinds of stuff.

Man O MAN did the direct marketers LOVE me.

I swear they had a red star next to my name on their mailing lists

The gold star stood for SHE’LL BUY ANYTHING!!!

So yes…I too was attracted to sexy..

Instant

and OVERNIGHT.

But here’s where it get’s STRANGE.

What would be the #1 thing I would buy into…

Me..the fat broke chick….

Well…what else but a deal where I could get rich and skinny at the SAME TIME of course!!!

And so it all began.

Ten years ago.

When I got into a weight loss MLM.

But here is where things became DIFFERENT than lat time.

Within 6 months of beginning the deal I was introduced to something I had never

experienced before….

Prosperity PHILOSOPHY

And just like being attracted to sexy and instant is as old as the hills

So is PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS

Go read Proverbs…

Go read Confuscious

And so I began a quest to trace back success principles and to study

with some of the most prominent “business philosophers” out there.

Because I quickly came to understand that the definition of “sexy”

will ALWAYS change…and therefore leave those that use “sexy” as their attractor factor

high and dry pretty darn quickly…

Where prosperity priciples are TIMELESS

And in the end this is where LASTING success lies.

IN THOUGHT

IN UNDERSTANDING

IN WISDOM

The crazy part is that learning these principles was in fact the lazyest and quickest thing I could have done

as now money is no longer an issue and it is almost effortless to produce.

It’s actually FUN!  Kind of a GAME.

True prosperity is moving into PASSION where you spend your days doing what you LOVE

and income streams towards you from all angles.

True prosperity is when you can see income opportunites all around you that you could never see before.

(This is why most of the GURU types end up in so many arenas…they can SEE money everywhere)

This is why we see those that study the prosperity principles constantly attract all the best partners and venues for

income production where so many others STRUGGLE or have one success and then fade from the forefront.

People will always be attracted to “sexy”

Nothing can stop that

Used to get me very frustrated to see so many good people

fall for things that I knew would be gone in a short period of time…

But now I accept what will never change.

But what I do know…

Is that with maturity what ones sees as “sexy” changes.

Who a man wants to date and who a man wants to marry are often very different women.

Where a new marketer wants to begin his career and where he wants to build his lasting  entity

are often two very different things as well.

And so I began to look for MATURE people who could see

just how darn “sexy” what I have to offer is.

FREEDOM is sexy no matter what century we are in.

It was in 1783

It was in 1865

It was in 1968

And it is in 2010 and beyond.

It’s just the definitions that change.

And it is my opinion that today and in the future

Freedom will not be about a call to arms

Or a sit in at a lunch counter

It will be about freedom of BEING

And freedom of finances-

SELF SUFFICIENCY

And those things are VERY sexy

As they lie in a man’s THOUGHT

Just as Napoleon Hill and Wallace Wattles described 100 years ago.

Your FREEDOM…

And ALL that is TRULY sexy in life…

Lies in THOUGHT.

I was on the phone with Joe Schroeder today and he was reading me
a passage that he had written and it just BLEW ME AWAY.

It was SO true

And in fact I had just been discussing this very concept on
one of my coaching calls…

Get this:

The World ALWAYS Purges Itself Of False Leaders By Offering

Them The Taste Of Laziness And Offering Them PRIDE

I wish I had caught the next line…

I didn’t

But it was something to the effect of that when a false leader gets caught in
these traps they repulse the true leader (their teacher) and they are cast aside
by the kings and queens who held out their hand to them and in the end
the false leader will drop from prominence often to never be seen again.

I was just STUNNED as he read the phrase to me this afternoon as I was
trying to put into words some of what I have been seeing out there for the
past few years and closer to home in the past few months.

I could sit and rattle of the names of people who rose to prominence on the
internet in the Network Marketing circles almost overnight and then just as quickly
were swept away by natures fury.

I can list the people who were HERALDED not so long ago by big players
who were left behind as soon as the tide turned and they no longer had the
“mojo” that they believed they had.

Downlines lost…

Programs closed…

Innocents hurt.

I can account to you the people who swaggered around without humility

claiming to be THE NEXT COMING who are now yet a memory…

often having destroyed all the promise of their future.

Bank accounts stripped…

Egos destroyed…

Never to be recovered again.

I consider myself to be blessed that I have walked the line
between old school and new school Network Marketing.

I was brought up in a time where lineage and pedigree were considered
paramount.

Where HONOR and RESPECT for ones upline mentors and TIME and PRODUCTION got you a seat at the  suite parties at the big events where secrets were shared and stories were told.

Where HONOR and RESPECT for ones MASTER COLLEAGUES at other companies
brought the industry together. It was these MASTERS that created the products
that we all studied and recommended to folks.

Today it seems everyone believes they can spit out a product after recruiting 12 people
or getting 120 opt ins….

And better yet…

They believe they can charge MORE than the masters
who went before them.

Today so many people think they are smarter than those that have lead for a
decade or more and built huge organizations.

Today people think they are all “COACHES” who can charge innocent newbies thousands of
dollars for marketing and “leadership” training when they themselves have accomplished
very little and are often BROKE living out of studio apartments and juggling their pay per click
advertising on 6 credit cards with $30 left on each one.

Anyone who can talk a good game can run around and claim to be the article king,
the video marketing queen, the blog giant, or the goddess of social media.

And please BE CLEAR…I am NOT talking about people who today have outrageous stories
who began as broke and made it big over several years…I am one of those people.
But I did not pretend to prance around like the Queen of Sheeba after recruiting
10 people and making believe I had a clue. I POINTED TO AND SERVED THE MASTERS as
did all of my colleagues who have gone the distance.

So…

How do I say this…

How do I feel about what I see going on out there?

Let me be delicate…

Oh screw it…

I can’t control myself!

It’s all BULL

It’s all a CANCER

And it makes me ILL

How’s that for blunt.

Remember:
The World ALWAYS Purges Itself Of False Leaders

And knowing that gives me solace as I look around and see all the insanity.

But then again I am still sad as I know thousands are hurt every year.

Ladies and gentlemen…

There is only ONE PATH to mastery.

It is to sit in SERVICE to a mentor.

I want you to think about this…

Can you become a master surgeon without sitting at the feet of a master surgeon?

Can you become a master opera singer without being trained by a master opera singer?

Can you become an olympian without coaching with olympians?

Your common sense tells you NO.

And yet EGO AND PRIDE spurn people into jumping up and yelling

I got a bunch of opt ins so pay me to show you how.

And when a false leader does this…

And so many do…

They CURSE themselves by not honoring the LEGACY of an industry.

And while people may be able to get away with their shenanigans for a while…

Nature ALWAYS corrects herself.

Study history and you will know it to be TRUE.

Study a volatile industry and look to where the stability is and you

will see THE CODE behind what you seek.

What you do with that is up to you but let me leave you with this:

I was just watching some of Mark Hoverson’s promo videos for his new product that he is coming out with.

You know…I had the pleasure of having dinner with Mark a while ago along
with Jonathan Budd, Jason Shaver, KD Churchill, Ferny Ceballos, Ray Fong…

There was a whole crew of us.

Funny thing is that I didn’t know who Mark was at the time.

I was sitting across the table from him but had no clue of

what he had accomplished

Which is good in a way I suppose.

All these guys are JUST PEOPLE in case you have not figured it out yet…

People who make A LOT of money but never the less…people

And we all had an amazing time flipping ideas around.

What often looks like chaos is absolutely NOT.

So today I get not the first but the second VERY NEGATIVE
letter from a guy who is on my list.

Tuesday he took the time to write me and criticize how I ran my
Monday night conference call…

Which BTW…was JAM PACKED with people getting knocked
off due to over capacity crowd.

But this fella…

Who doesn’t know me from a hole in the ground took the time to

write me and inform me that he and his two friends who listened in

didn’t like the way I do my meet and greet and that they disapproved

of the fact that I actually spent time greeting my guests and that

I didn’t get right to “the business at hand” for TEN WHOLE MINUTES!

He made it clear the he didn’t like my style and that he was SURE

that ALL the new people felt that way.

So of course as always we delivered a jam packed hour of mind bending

training JEMS absolutely FREE to the public and the crowd wanted to stay for more..

But ok…

I admit..the way I do it is not for everyone…

And I am QUITE cool with that.

I wrote the guy back and told him it’s not for everyone but that
how we do it at The Million Mind March

But that I wasn’t gonna change the style that has worked for me for

all these years.

So ok..

I am not a match for him..

Which is fine.

My mantra for the last 9 years had been…

“I am looking for people who are looking for me”

I got that quote from the Great Joe Schroeder and I have

held it close to my heart all these years…

Totally one of the keys to my success.

So just when I think this episode is over this person sends

me yet ANOTHER negative email criticizing the fact that I sent out

an offer for a tool that I use that had a time limited special.

Not MY special..but their special…and YES..it had a time limit.

I sent it out in case anyone on my list wanted it before the offer

was over and I also included a FREE option for those on a budget.

Damn I am a manipulative sales person…aren’t I?

So my buddy…Let’s call him “Know It All Joe” it he told me that time sensitive

offers are so “2005″ And that he was turned off by it.

(Oh NO!!!  I turned him off again)

(And BTW…go ask Dr. Cialdini if time limited offers work…ask Mike Filsaime…ask Frank Kern)

Again I digress…

So then he had the nerve to call the folks that work with me “minions”

And he insulted their intelligence.

And lastly he indicated that if I wanted to do business with HIM

that I needed to schedule a time to talk

I am sure at this time he was planning to TRAIN ME UP on

how to do business and all…

As his claim to fame was being at the top of the heap at Ryze

(remember that one kids…back in the stone age)

So here is my response…
