I love to speak in front of live groups.
I have done it in private events for years now by myself or with one other trainer but recently I started speaking a public events with well know speakers and trainers.
It began last April at the Real Savvy Event, Then No Excuses, Then Live The Dream and this weekend it is at Ray Higdon‘s Mastermind event in Florida.
What I have loved about this event is that as opposed to the typical 45 or 50 minutes that speakers are often given to share a concept with the audience we had three whole hours to develop a an idea and really train the crowd up and give them something they can use on Monday.

I run my business a little weird.
Truthfully…It’s kooky.
But you gotta understand…
I got into business when I was a broke housewife…
So the methods I used and still use today take advantage of the thrift I had to put in place on order to pull my family out of debt.

Most people who attempt to market on Facebook fail miserable simply because they do not know the dos and don;t of facebook marketing.

Write an email make a grand or more.
Insane I know…But it’s TRUE.
I do it all the time and I constantly and STUNNED by the results.
Not so long ago I could not do this but in 2007 I decided that it was time to take my skill set to a whole other level and I started to focus in on how to communicated better in a SALES capacity.
Now what you need to grasp is that SALES COPY is TOTALLY different from other types if writing.
You may have been a magna cum laude graduate from Harvard with a degree English and not be able to write an email that will make you a dime…
In fact…most of the good copy writers out there were NEVER training to write properly (in an English class kinda way) which is EXACTLY why they are so successful.
Bottom line is that they write like they talk…
Know how to format an email properly (most everyone does this WRONG)
And they know a few psychological tricks that cause people to CLICK..CLICK..CLICK!!!
If you can write a decent letter and get your readers into a STRONG marketing funnel put together by someone else (affiliate programs) you can make money all day long and while I can not promise you a grand or more your first time out of the gate…
(Heck…I can not promise you ANYTHING)

Leads, leads, leads…
It’s all anyone seems to talk about…
And so much of the training out there is so darn COMPLICATED.
My philosophy is to do what I know how to do TODAY so that I always have fresh leads and then learn the complicated stuff as I go along.
But most people get into business and spend days, months and even years trying to learn the complicated and int he mean time they have no leads, no presentations and NO BUSINESS…
But they sure have a nice blog that no one sees!!
<I am giggling but dead serious>
Can you afford to let another day go by without generating some leads and making some presentations?
I couldn’t…
And that is why I never thought I was above doing grunt work while I was learning the skills that I possess today.
Bottom line is..if there is a way to market…I have done it…
And done it with all my heart until I learned a better skill that would help me move faster.
Today I have the luxury of sitting home and writing emails that make my cash register sing but back the day you could find me out on the streets doing what I had to do.
And I am so thankful I did!
Today’s talk is about generating offline leads.
It’s about the old school stuff that so many of us grew up on.
Heck..I still carry flyers and stuff in my car to hangup around town when I am out.

OVERWHELMED
