All the best,

Diane,
That was a brillant idea! I’ve never been to an IKEA, but now I’m interested in checking them out too. Great marketing stragety!!
Thanks for sharing!
Diane,
IKEA does use some great marketing, I love the store but unfortunately I do not have one here in VA so I have to go towards DC to go to the actual store but I stop each time I do.

Hi Diane,
I had been using Aweber for several years before I started using the thing to add their personal name. A couple years ago I started doing it. I noticed an immediate increase in response. Sometimes it’s funny the responses you get when they think you wrote it just for them. I love when the ones on my distributor list thank me for the personal attention. ; )

Hey Diane,
I agree… IKEA is a fantastic example of a marketing funnel.
I love visiting there and spending time trying to identify all of the marketing tactics that they have setup in the store. It is a fun game to play. Next time I should bring my video camera and document my visit to share this great wealth of marketing genius with others. Look forward to seeing what my dream living room looks like!
Make it a great day!
God Bless,

Simply masterful marketing.. It’s right in front of us!
What a great piece to wet the whistle of all those
auto responder users and wanna be’s users
Who do you think they will contact now when looking
for an auto-responder?
I sure wish this was my idea!

Great tip! I’m a little jaded now, but when I first came online I was amazed at the personalization. You are right, we can’t help but want to look if our own name is on something. The downside is when the person opting in puts something weird in the name field… then your emails look funny. But still, getting a personalized email makes it hard to resist!
Peace,
Bob
Simply BRILLIANT!
I love IKEA too.. there’s one in Chicagoland
And thanks for the reminder on ‘passing’ variables..
that’s an often overlooked feature in the autoresponder that can make all the difference in YOUR marketing…
Thanks Diane!

This is so cool Diane, I love it, and I am going to go play with it right now..I just opted into a lady I met recently and when I clicked submit, her capture page came up and at the top of the it said Joy you have made a great decision, I was just floored I had never seen that with anyone else, until I just got wind of this video of yours. You are so right a variable so cool..love it
Thanks
I LOVE THIS IDEA!! That is brillant marketing. Before you explained why your name was on the cover, I really thought they used one of your ideas. Now, I am curious about IKEA. Never been in one or saw a catalog. Smart Cookies and a Great Trick! Thanks Diane.
